What's more, some education and advices that require decades of practical experience cannot be gained from other places but our grandparents, to name a few, how to maintain a good relationship with our supervisors and peers, how to stay humble and how to make a change when facing difficulties.
Admittedly, when given new objects, our grandparents could not alter to the new trends as we could, thus not being able to provide useful suggestions. For example, during the past 50 years, we came through the age of electricity and stepped into the era of information. Internet, smart phones and computers are filled in every corner of our daily lives. We have to admit that grandparents would not be able to give suggestions when we are in trouble with these new technologies or when we are in problems with specific characteristics of this generation. For instance, grandparents would not know how to give us advice about how to shop on the internet or how to handle an instant messenger. However, this would not constrain their capabilities of showing their wisdom in issues when we need them most.
All in all, although great changes have happened in the past 50 years, which would bring difficulties for our grandparents to give us tutoring in some aspects, they are still the best ones we could turn to for guidance whenever we are mentally weak or are in need for help from practical experience.
